Frequently asked questions

helpMy brakes feel spongy — do they need bleeding?

Often, yes. A spongy hydraulic lever usually means air in the system, fixed with a bleed. We'll check the pads and rotors too, in case they're the real cause.

helpHow often should brake pads be replaced?

It depends on mileage, weather and terrain. City riders in the wet wear pads faster. We'll measure yours during any service and only recommend replacement when they're genuinely low.

helpCan you convert or upgrade my brakes?

We can fit new calipers, levers and rotors and set them up properly. Bring the bike in for a quick look and we'll advise on what's compatible.
